Week 5


This week we implemented moving platforms and objects to hide behind in the levels. Ebba and Gui focused on working on the levels and in total, 4 new levels where created. We also fixed some bugs and removed things we found unnecessary, like that you sometimes miss when throwing the yarn booster at the cat. Gui also embedded the game into itch.io, which worked fine.

We discussed what telemetry should be included for the evaluation of the game, and Gui implemented it into our game. We also finalized the user evaluation questions for the MOJO.

Maria worked on the game art and design, and together with Ebba worked on implementing the animations of the cat in different stages of the game (waking cycle, playing with yarn etc).

We also got into contact with the writing team and informed them of what the game is built right now. We are uncertain if we will be able to include much writing in the final version of the game, but are keeping an ongoing discussion.

Maria also prepared the poster and instruction sheet for the MOJO next week.
